Type: Shrub / Tree

Native to: Southern Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay

Fruit: Feijoa fruits are .75-3.5" long with green/blue-green waxy skin. The fruit taste like combinations of guava, pineapple, strawberry and mint. Both the flowers and fruit have a strong, pleasant scent.

Size: The feijoa can grow 15-25' tall.

Hardiness: Zones 8-11

Propagation: Seeds, which may take weeks to germinate.

Uses: The feijoa is often eaten fresh, but is also used in many desserts.
