Mystery Monday - Name the Shrub!

By February 4, 2013

Follow me on:

Welcome to the first Mystery Monday of February..where does the time go? Last week's tree was the alerce (Fitzroya cupressoides). Congrats to Jomo and Anand.

Your clues for this week:

  • The blossoms smell like orange blossoms, inspiring the common name for this shrub

  • This evergreen shrub grows in Zones 8-11

  • The shrub is native to China and Japan

  • Watch out for those red seeds - they're pretty sticky.

Good luck on naming this week's shrub!
