Invite Hummingbirds to Your Garden
Monday April 21, 2008
When I worked at a xeriscape demonstration garden, my favorite place to sit was under the sunset hyssop bushes. As I pruned the neighboring lavender bushes, hummingbirds whizzed by. They were very curious and would come quite close to see what I was doing.
Sunset hyssops will flower for most of the summer, adding a blaze of pink, purple and orange shaded splendor to your yard. Bring some hummingbirds, butterflies and bees to your garden by planting sunset hyssop.
